CRESBI Hot/Cold Gel Pack
Interior contents: 85% water, 10% glycerol, 5% sodium-carboxymethyl cellulose.
Care: Wipe clean with warm cloth
Freezer: Store gel pack in your freezer inside the pocket of your CRESBI Freezable Thermal Insert so that it is ready for use. Approximately one hour is required to freeze the gel. Besides keeping food cold, this gel pack can also be used in case of injury and is ideal for temporary relief of headaches, toothaches, and for reducing swelling and fevers.
Microwave: Place gel pack in microwave for approximately 30 seconds on high power if the gel pack is at room temperature or 60 seconds if the gel pack is frozen. After this time check that the desired temperature has been reached. If not, continue to heat in 10 second increments. Times are based on a 600 W microwave oven. Adjust your heating times according to the power of your microwave.
Stove top: Bring water to a boil, remove from heat and immerse gel pack in the hot water for approximately 4 - 10 minutes. After 4 minutes, check once every minute to see if the desired temperature has been reached. Besides keeping food hot, this gel pack is ideal to use for temporary relief of muscle aches and pains, menstrual cramps, sinusitis, and back pain.
CAUTION: IF USING GEL PACK FOR INJURY OR PAIN RELIEF IT IS ADVISABLE TO CHECK THAT THE TEMPERATURE IS NOT TOO EXTREMELY HOT OR COLD AGAINST THE SKIN. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE GEL PACK BE WRAPPED IN CLOTH BEFORE APPLYING TO THE SKIN.
